137 Newcomers in Seribu Island Netted

Population operation held in Putri Island, Sepa Island and Pelangi Island, Seribu Island netted 137 newcomers, Wednesday (7/27).

We issued 137 letters, and the rests still waiting the resort owner to report their worker data

Mostly the newcomers come from Bali and Bandung. They work in local resorts. City administration apparatus then gave them temporary domicile letter.

“We issued 137 letters, and the rests still waiting the resort owner to report their worker data,” said Sukma Wijaya, Seribu Island Head Sub-dept. of Population and Civil Registration, Thursday (7/28).

Population Operation in Sukapura Netted 402 Newcomers

According to him, those three islands are chosen as operation sample. Moreover, his side also held operation in settlement islands.

“Operation in settlement islands has been run. We need local apparatus to be more active collecting their citizen data,” he closed
